While many of us expected this season of The Bachelorette Australia to tilt more toward boring, it looks like there’s enough drama to keep us satisfied.
From James’ aggressive antics to Becky and Pete’s (rumoured) split, Elly and Becky’s season just keeps on giving.
According to the So Dramatic! podcast, an anonymous contestant told host Megan Pustetto that Elly was secretly hooking up with front-runner Frazer Neate during the infamous cocktail parties and all while the other men remained completely unaware.
The source claimed that “Elly and Frazer were caught on many occasions sneaking off into a private room to hook up.”
“No one really kissed the girls in front of the boys at the cocktail parties, we had an agreement that we wouldn’t do that,” the source admitted, forcing us to remember Roxi’s blow up from the latest season of The Bachelor.
“We later found out that Frazer had broken the bro code and secretly gone off to a private room in the mansion with Elly on a number of occasions during the cocktail parties to hook up with her in private. We didn’t know about it until the very end of the season, when he admitted it to a few of the final boys.”
And while breaking bro code seems to be one of the biggest sins to commit on the series, it looks like there’s even more drama following Frazer. According to the source, Frazer is still not over his former girlfriend which left Elly feeling incredibly “insecure”.
“Frazer told the boys about the relationship in the mansion, Elly found out about it because one of the boys mentioned that Frazer had been discussing his ex-girlfriend all the time,” the source said.
“She became extremely insecure, and they had a number of arguments about it… She felt threatened, not only because she knew [his ex] was extremely attractive and successful, but also because she was worried he might not be over her yet, if he was still talking about her to the other boys.”
But of course, in typical Bachelorette fashion, said drama never made it to the final cut on screen.
Frazer may be the front-runner for Elly’s heart this season, but we’ll have to watch the final episodes to see if he does convince her to hand him her final rose.
The Bachelorette Australia continues Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on Network Ten.
