Meghan Markle surprised us all by announcing her return to Instagram just as 2025 began. And not one to keep her fans waiting, the Duchess has delivered a slice of pop culture pie, by revealing her latest venture – a Netflix show set to launch in the coming weeks.
Back in July 2024, when news first broke that Meghan and Harry were working on not one, but two shows for Netflix, we knew there would be a lifestyle series in the mix.
Now, six months later, we officially have our answer – with Meghan Markle announcing her lifestyle program, With Love, Meghan.
Here’s everything we know so far about the new Meghan Markle Netflix show about to hit our screens.
When does With Love, Meghan Come Out?
The Meghan Markle Netflix show, With Love, Meghan is set to premiere on January 15 exclusively on Netflix.
Meghan shared the news to her newly launched personal Instagram, alongside a caption reading: “I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it. Wishing you all a fantastic new year! Thanks to our amazing crew and the team @netflix. Beyond grateful for the support – and fun! As ever, Meghan”
According to Netflix, the series will consist of eight episodes – each roughly 33 minutes long.
What Is The Meghan Markle Netflix Show About?
As we see in the trailer for With Love, Meghan, the Duchess is returning to her lifestyle roots, reimagining The Tig for 2025 with a show that promises to “create wonder in every moment.”
Viewers can expect to share moments with Meghan “in the kitchen, garden – and even at the beehive – as she prepares to host friends both old and new.
“Sharing some of her favourite tips and tricks for cooking, gardening, crafting, and more, Meghan reveals how even the most minute details can help add beauty to our lives and, most importantly, help bring people together.”
The show will centre around the “small, personal moments that bring delight to those we cherish” – a seemingly welcome new direction for the Duchess, as she seeks to rebuild after a tumultuous few years.
Further details reveal that it won’t just be slow panning garden shots and homemaker how-tos. As special guests will feature throughout, offering a more candid approach to the traditional lifestyle series take.
Which Guests Will Appear On The Meghan Markle Netflix Show?
We can expect check-ins from fellow Suits alum Abigail Spencer, as well as her makeup artist Daniel Martin.
Mindi Kaling, Roy Choi and Alice waters will also make appearances, with more guests to be revealed as the show airs.
Based on the trailer and shared details, we do know that the following will be joining the Duchess for some kitchen frivolities.
Roy Choi
Lovers of cooking shows will likely recognise Roy Choi from his various endeavours including his mentorship of Jon Favreau for the beloved film Chef.
They then went on to create a cooking show of their own called The Chef Show, where Favreau and Choi invited celebrity guests and fellow culinary icons into the kitchen for inspiration aplenty.
The chef is also credited for sparking the food truck phenomenon with his Korean barbeque taco truck Kogi BBQ in Los Angeles.
Mindy Kaling
Needing no introduction, the powerhouse producer, actress and comedic genius Mindi Kaling is counted as one of Meghan’s nearest and dearest.
In the trailer Kaling takes part in various cooking activities with Meghan before being led into a greenhouse filled with homemade treats and decorative table settings.
Alice Waters
Alice Waters is a California-based culinary icon credited with bringing “California Cuisine” to the mainstream.
Founder of Chez Panisse restaurant in Berkeley, California, Waters is a champion of the food-to-table philosophy with a strong focus on organic and sustainable agricultural practices.
It’s likely her role on the show will be to bring some of that expertise to viewers, offering some advice for Meghan’s own kitchen garden along the way.
Either way, we’ll be watching on with adoration for the abundant garden beds and picturesque pottery tables as our sad, dying herbs look on from the window sill.
