They’ve shared their final vows and said their final goodbyes, but anyone familiar with reality television knows they always save the best, for last. And with a season full of controversial couples, and more than its fair share of concerning dynamics, the Married At First Sight (MAFS) reunion is set to send the season’s drama into the stratosphere.
After all, we know (at least on screen), which of the MAFS 2025 couples are still together, and who didn’t go the distance, but if the teaser trailer is anything to go by, we could still be in for a few surprises – both good, and bad.
While we await the final instalment with baited breath, here’s everything you need to know about what to expect from the 2025 MAFS reunion.
What Time Does The MAFS Reunion Air?
The 2025 MAFS reunion episode will air across two nights on Channel 9 and 9Now. Part 1 of the reunion will air on Sunday April 6 at 7pm, with a Reunion Dinner Party while part two, a reunion finale will air on Monday April 7 from 7.30pm.
When Was The MAFS Reunion Filmed?
While we don’t have an exact date to share, based on the fact that filming for the actual season wrapped in September 2024, it’s likely that producers chose to film the reunion several months after.
This would place an approximate timeline around November or December of 2024.
Given this, it’s likely we’ll get to see just what’s happened between some of the couples who surprised us with unexpected endings (here’s looking at you Adrian and Awhina) or rumoured re-partnerings.
We do know from the trailer that Ryan’s ex Jacqui will be debuting her relationship with fellow contestant, Clint – which begs the question as to whether we’ll see a return from Lauren, or not.
MAFS Reunion Spoilers
According to Chattr, inside sources have revealed that viewers can expect some serious drama between a few of the contestants, especially after it’s revealed that Jacqui and Clint have been dating outside of the show.
“Ryan [Donnelly] doesn’t take it well and has a go at Jacqui,” the source claims. “He was intimidating her and calling her names, but Awhina stands up for the bride.”
The groom in question also shared a titbit with Chattr, suggesting that we can also expect a “shock return” to add another flame to the fire.
Similarly, Jamie shared her own memories of the night, revealing that while there’s definitely drama, the girls of the group were just enjoying themselves, grateful for the time to catch up and reconnect.
“For everyone who’s been watching our entire series, you can see this season’s been wild, like, you can’t trust us. Of course, it’s [the reunion] going to be chaos,” she said. “I mean, I usually just go to the dinner party for the wine and the bread, which I think most people can see, me and Awhina are just constantly eating and drinking our wine, I’m there for that, and anything extra is added juice on top.”
