Married At First Sight’s (MAFS) Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice were the couple fans never could have predicted would come out of the 2025 experiment. But, here we are, reporting on their engagement.
That’s right, it appears Jacqui and Clint just got engaged at a MAFS reunion viewing party, no less.
Here’s what we know about the couple’s engagement and that huge ring.
Are MAFS’ Jacqui & Clint Engaged?
Yes—it appears we weren’t the only ones tuning into the MAFS reunion dinner party tonight. In the middle of a viewing party held by So Dramatic! podcast at Sydney’s Arcade Bar with their fellow 2025 contestants, Jacqui and Clint took centre stage as part of a Q&A session with host Megan Pustetto.
“Clint, you have a bombshell not even Jacqui knows about,” Pustetto probed before Clint took the mic.
“We signed for Married At First Sight to get married… So, I’ve got one question for you,” Clint asked before formally getting on one knee. You can watch the full clip below.
MAFS Jacqui & Clint Relationship Timeline
Initially paired with “warrior man” Ryan, it wasn’t exactly as though fans believed she the bride was fated to make it out of the show with her original groom.
Jaqcui and Ryan proved to be one of the most chaotic couples in the show’s history—when they weren’t fighting with one another, they were fighting fellow couples and continuously making up to make it through the show.
But, weeks before the MAFS reunion and finale, leaked photos revealed Jacqui is dating fellow season 12 groom, Clint, who entered the show as an intruder to be paired with OG bride, Lauren.
The first clue of a romance between Jacqui and Clint came back in February, when Jacqui posted a cryptic message to instagram confirming her new man.
“Experts had my perfect match right under their noses and they still couldn’t get it right,” she penned.
Soon after, Woman’s Day snapped the happy couple out on a coffee date and even sharing a kiss.

Appearing on Fox 101.9’s Fifi, Fev and Nick recently, Jacqui revealed it was Clint who made the first move.
“He reached out to me and wanted to get to know me, and after Final Vows, he invited me down to Tassie to spend some time with him. We do have a 14-year age gap, so I was a little nervous about that, but after meeting him, the age gap didn’t matter, it didn’t affect us at all,” Jacqui said.
Jacqui then added: “Clint is a successful businessman, and we’re both going into business together now. Life is looking great.”
Congratulations to the happy couple!
