Congratulations are in order for The Bachelor alumni, Holly Kingston and Jimmy Nicholson, who have just announced they are expecting their first child.
The pair shared the exciting news via Instagram, posting a series of candid beach snaps followed by an ultrasound image on Sunday night. In the snaps, Holly cradled her bump, outfitted in a crochet white maxi dress.
“COMING 2024!” they captioned the post.
The couple first met on season nine of the famed reality television show, which Jimmy, a pilot, fronted in a bid to find the ever-elusive One. The Northern Beaches local had his sights set on Holly, then a marketing manager, from the season’s outset. With their undeniably chemistry, fans were rooting for her to be the last woman standing. Despite having to deal with drama and jealousy from other contestants, ultimately, she was.
Osher Günsberg , who hosted The Bachelor throughout its 10-year run, commented a cheeky, “You’re welcome ❤️,:
Fellow former Bachie star, Matty J offered some advice in the duo’s comments section, writing, “Congrats guys… enjoy your last few months of freedom before you enter hell! Just kidding, parenting is great 😅”.
Following the finale, the pair moved in together and have since spent plenty of time travelling, sharing their adventures with fans online.
On their first anniversary, Jimmy popped the question during a trip to Italy.
They tied the knot just over a year later, in an intimate Palm Beach ceremony.
Holly and Jimmy are one of The Bachelor‘s few success stories, as one of the five couples whose relationship survived long-term following the show. They join Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich; Sam Wood and Snezana Markoski; Matty Johnson and Laura Byrne; and Locky Gilbert and Irena Srbinovska in welcoming a Bachie baby.
We couldn’t be more excited for this new chapter for them.
