In the best news we’ve heard all week: HBO has confirmed that Game of Thrones writers are working on not just one, but multiple, spinoff shows.
The network announced this morning that four GoT writers are currently starting separate projects, including Max Borenstein (Kong: Skull Island), Jane Goldman (Kingsman: The Golden Circle), Brian Helgeland (Legend), and Carly Wray (Mad Men, The Leftovers).

Both Goldman and Wray will be working directly alongside GoT creator, George R. R. Martin. AKA, these shows are bound to be especially good.
As for release dates, HBO says, “We’ll take as much or as little time as the writers need and, as with all our development, we will evaluate what we have when the scripts are in.”
Of course, we’ll keep you well informed as things develop.
