Warning: This article contains Game of Thrones spoilers.
Game of Thrones latest episode left fans with some questions – why did Jamie and Cersei die the way they did? Why did we not see an Arya-Cersei showdown like we had been lead to believe the past several seasons? Why did Daenerys do what she did? As viewers who have been there since day one, we should have known to expect the unexpected.
But, the most bizarre thing we weren’t expecting to see – a white horse appearing out of nowhere. When Arya, bloodied and dirtied by the fall of the Red Keep, emerged from the rubble, she saw a beautiful white horse standing in the midst of it all. It looked like it had been involved in the fight, as it was covered in blood and dirt. So…what was it? And, more importantly, where had it been hiding?
Twitter couldn’t decipher it, either. Does it symbolise peace? Is it how Arya is going to punish Daenerys for her actions? Below, the best tweets and memes about the mysterious Game of Thrones horse.
