Game of Thrones aired its final episode ever, and while its conclusion has divided the world there’s one thing we can all agree on: Sansa Stark, the rightful Queen of the North, dominated every scene she appeared in. In addition to declaring the North’s independence from the Seven Kingdoms, she also gloriously owned her uncle, Edmure Tully (Tobias Menzies), who made his first appearance in the series since Season 6 Episode 8, ‘No One’.
Following the shocking events in the Red Keep, that saw Jon Snow stab his former lover turned aunt turned enemy, all the remaining Lords and Ladies of Westeros gathered at the King’s Landing dragon pit to decide what to do next. Edmure attempts to take charge, “My lords and ladies, I suppose this is the most important moment of our lives. What we decide today will reverberate through the annals of history. I stand before you as one of the senior lords in the country. A veteran of two wars. And I like to think my experience has led to some small skill in statecraft…”
Sansa interrupts, “Uncle? Please sit.”
