‘The Bachelorette’s’ Frazer And Joe Hung Out Without Elly And Now Fans Are Confused

Please explain

Despite the finale having aired in early November, it seems the tea from the 2020 season of The Bachelorette Australia hasn’t quite finished spilling. The latest instalment? A sighting of none other than Elly Miles’ winner Frazer Neate and her runner-up, Joe Woodbury, hanging out together—without Elly.

The glimpse was first spotted by reality TV chronicler So Dramatic! podcast, who shared the screenshot from Joe’s Instagram Stories which showed Frazer having lunch with him in Newcastle, with the contestant later sharing a proper photo of the two together to his Instagram grid.

The younger Miles sister isn’t present in the photo, but that isn’t necessarily cause for suspicion, as ‘final twos’ have previously formed friendships on the show.

The photos follow ongoing rumours that Elly and Frazer had broken up (perhaps a catch-up to commiserate?).

One source told So Dramatic! host Megan Pustetto that Frazer had told members of his football team that he and Elly had split, while another apparently said he was out and about and claiming to be unattached.

“Turns out he wasn’t just hitting the town claiming to be single, he actually told everyone that him and Elly had broken up,” the source said.

It also comes after allegations that Frazer had been with “a few” people since filming wrapped. All that said, it’s important to remember that there is a solid stretch of time between filming and the show airing, so there may well be more to the situation than we know.

Regardless of the speculation however, Elly recently came out to debunk rumours that she and Frazer had split, answering fan questions in an Instagram Q&A.

“Frazer and I are going good, we’re still together. I am going to move to Queensland in January—that’s the plan,” she said.

Elly also continued on to say that she thought that sharing a video of her and Frazer to Instagram to social media would have assured fans, and that she was surprised when it didn’t.

“It’s funny, it only came out last week when I did a cute little reel of us together, to be like ‘yeah no, we are together!’ and then I get people [messaging] the next day being like ‘are you guys still together?’” she said.

“Really? It’s like, we are! Like, you’ve got to remember we’re doing long distance as well.”
