Adrian Baena Confirmed That He and Becky Did Get Together After ‘The Bachelorette’

But apparently it only lasted for three days

As with most Bachelor seasons, the ‘drama’ doesn’t quite finish with the finale.

The same goes for 2020’s season of The Bachelorette Australia, with Becky Miles’ runner-up Adriana Baena seemingly confirming rumours that the elder sister did ‘pull a Blake Garvey’ after things ended with the winner, Pete Mann, just three days after they finished filming.

Following the first tea spill, which came courtesy of So Dramatic! podcast, Adrian took to his Instagram on November 9 to share a video, which he labelled “My Truth”.

Just a quick message to let everyone know where I’m at and to address this whole Becky and Adrian situation,” he wrote in the caption.

In the video, he went on to discuss what transpired between him and Becky after filming for the show ended, confirming they connected after the show, but they only had “an amazing three days together”

“After the show, Becky called me up. She was crying and that. She said what happened between her and Pete,” Baena said.

“Me and Becky, we kept in contact. Then we decided what the heck, let’s meet up, let’s see what happens. I went in with an open mind. What did I have to lose, nothing.”

He then went on to liken it to the experience of getting back together with your ex before realising that “special” feeling is “just not there anymore”.

He continued: “I don’t want to be someone’s second choice. I know who I am and I know what I deserve. To me, I am a ten, and I deserve that, and I want to be someone’s first choice.”

Adrian did also say that the two are still “friends”, but that he doesn’t seen there being anything beyond a friendship at this point.

“With me and Becky now, we are super close, and I said let’s just be friends. We can be great friends. Who knows what the future holds, but right now I don’t see her as anything else than a friend,” he said.

The runner-up also addressed winner Pete Mann leaving Becky over FaceTime three days after filming wrapped, with Becky previously saying the Kyle & Jackie O Radio Show that, while she wanted to try and was willing to relocate to South Australia for him if things went well, he did not want to give things ago.

“He pretty much called her up after three days and said I’m not feeling it. Message to Petey, bro, I think it was a dog act. I think Becky deserves so much better than that. It was a bit of a shit go, bro,” Adrian said in the video.
