For those of us who sometimes forget, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski are here to remind us that real love does still exist. It seems that every second day there’s a Hollywood breakup to report on, but as sure as the sun will rise, we know that these two will continue to be a pillar of true, unrelenting love (and thank god for that).
The gorgeous couple, who have been happily married since 2010 and share two children together and have starred alongside one another for two films (A Quiet Place 1 and 2), which was written and directed by Krasinski.
Despite being two of the biggest individual names in film, the couple have an incredibly lowkey kind of love. Their meet-cute story was by total random in a restaurant and their first date was a smorgasbord of Italian food at home.
In 2019, Krasinski shared the secret to his then nine-year marriage to Blunt, and fair warning, you’ll want to get the tissues ready before reading it.
“I gotta say it just sort of happens organically,” he told E! Online. “It’s one of those things where I was a huge fan of hers before I even met her, so I continue to be a huge fan of hers in everything she does. So we’re just extremely supportive, we get what the job is and that you gotta travel and do some stuff, but it’s always about coming back home and being together. It’s the most important thing.”
