While we eagerly await the release of Disney’s feature film, Beauty and the Beast, even more exciting news about the film has been revealed.
Celine Dion is set to return to sing a new song for the soundtrack titled ‘How Does A Moment Last Forever’.
Dion shared the exciting news on her Instagram account saying “Being a part of the original Beauty and the Beast was such a magical experience in my life. And I’m truly honoured to be a part of this film again.”

“Celine was the unanimous choice of the filmmakers and studio to perform this song,” Mitchell Leib, President of Music for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Production, added.
“And everyone involved with this film is thrilled she agreed to be part of this new live-action adaptation.”
Written by Academy award winning composer Alan Menken and lyricist Tim Rice, the song is described as “an emotional ballad about holding onto life’s precious moments”
Dion sang the original title track ‘Beauty and The Beast’, in the 1991 animated feature film. The song won Best Original Song at the Golden Globes and at the Academy Awards. It also won two Grammy’s, one for Best Song Written for Visual Media and Best Pop Performance by Duo or Group with Vocals, for Dion and Peabo Bryson.
The soundtrack will also include vocals from Ariana Grande and John Legend who will perform an updated version of the ‘Beauty and the Beast’ title track.
The film is due for release on March 17 2017 with the soundtrack available from March 10.
