The 2023 Cannes Film Festival has so far proven to be a family affair, with several celebrity offspring making their mark on the red carpet.
Some celebrity children have become familiar fixtures at events of this kind, like Gigi Hadid and Maya Hawke, who have both forged their own successful careers in the world of show business.
For others, like Cate Blanchett’s eldest child Dashiell, who lives his life out of the spotlight, Cannes signified a rare public appearance.
So, if you think you’ve spotted some familiar faces on the red carpet but can’t quite put your finger on who they are, we’ve done the digging for you.
Below, every nepo baby who attended the Cannes Film Festival in 2023.
Gigi Hadid
Gigi Hadid, daughter of luxury real estate developer Mohamed Hadid and former model-turned-Real Housewife Yolanda Hadid, is no stranger to Cannes. The Guest In Residence founder proved worthy of her supermodel status at this years festival, in a stunning Zac Posen gown and enviable jewels.
Maya Hawke
Daughter of acting powerhouses Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, Maya Hawke proved talent is genetic with her breakout role in Stranger Things back in 2019. At this year’s Cannes, the actress wore Prada to celebrate the premier of her new film, Asteroid City.
Cate Blanchett and Dashiell John Upton
Cate Blanchett and her 21-year-old son Dashiell John Upton took centre stage at the Killers of the Flower Moon premier.
Dashiell is the eldest son of Cate and husband Andrew Upton — the pair also share son Roman, 19, and daughter Edith, 8.
While he has remained relatively out of the spotlight so far, Dashiell is reportedly following in his mother’s footsteps by enrolling in film school.
Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, and Truman Hanks
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson brought their youngest son, Truman, along to the star-studded Asteroid City premier.
The pair have been married for 35 years and also have one older child together, Chet, who has had recurring roles acting in the series’ Empire and Shameless.
Truman, on the other hand, flexed his acting skills for the first time in the 2023 film A Man Called Otto, in which he played a younger version of his father’s character.
Iris Law
Model and actress Iris Law turned heads on the red carpet in a sheer Saint Laurent slip dress.
Iris, 22, is one of three children shared by actors Jude Law and Sadie Frost. A burgeoning model and actress, she has made a name for herself on Instagram and TikTok for her unique style and head-turning beauty moments.
And while her dad also made an appearance at this year’s festival, the pair walked the carpet separately, solidifying Iris’ hard-earned star power.
Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael Douglas, and Carys Zeta-Douglas
Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas took their stunning daughter along for the screening of Jeanne du Barry.
Carys, 20, is the couple’s youngest child, after their son, Dylan, 22. Bearing more than a passing resemblance to her mum, the sweet mother-daughter duo both opted for gowns by Elie Saab for the special occasion.
Lily Rose Depp
Lily Rose Depp, the daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, is another nepo baby making her own mark on the entertainment industry.
Lily, 22, first caught the attention of the fashion world for her enviable street style and uncanny ability to predict a trend. Now, she’s trying her hand at acting, with her series The Idol premiering at Cannes.
