Here to make your day/month/year is the news that Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio will be starring alongside each other in a film for the very first time.
While we have no idea why this hasn’t happened earlier, the two Hollywood hunks have been confirmed for Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, based on the Charles Manson murders of 1969.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, Tarantino describes his new project as “a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood.”
“The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), former star of a Western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt). Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbour… Sharon Tate.”
But, wait, there’s more: Leo could be reunited with his Wolf of Wall Street co-star, Margot Robbie, who is tipped to play the role of Sharon Tate.
Mark your calendars for the film’s release date: August 9th 2019.
