So we know we’re only one episode into the new season of The Bachelor, but it’s safe to say we’re already hooked – and safe to say we’re going to dissect every piece of Bachie intel we come across. (You can find all said intel at our designated Bachie hub here).
And while speculation is rife over which lady will win Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins’ heart, (here are our predictions), it seems the rumour mill is swirling with reports the couple have already parted ways.
In a couple of recent promo interviews, Cummins’ answers to whether he and the winner are still together have raised eyebrows.
Firstly, speaking on The Project, the Bachie spoke in the past tense, when speaking of the relationship.
“I was very lucky in this season. There’s some cracking sorts, but you know, once you spend some time with them they’re even better birds. I was very lucky.”
Was being the operative word.
Then, speaking with KIIS FM’s Kyle & Jackie O, Cummins then dodged a question from a caller about a reunion with his ex-girlfriend, Martine Thomassen, who he split from in 2017.
“That’s a beauty,” he said, adding, “well, I’d have to fly to Norway, which that would be a whole different kettle of fish. How am I going to do my work there?”
That’s not a no, FYI.
But he did go on to say he and Thomassen, have both moved on.
“No, no. I’ve had that chat and we both know we’ve moved on. But I’m excited to see where her life goes as well.”
“What I can say is um, is not a lot, but I’m bloody happy alright. I’m very happy so take what you will.”
Mamamia have also reported an unnamed source as telling them she “pashed” Cummins in a nightclub just two weeks ago…
