It was never going to be a quiet affair when Mode Sportif founder Deborah Symond, married her long-time love, Ned O’Neil.
The pair hired out the entire Qualia resort on Queensland’s Hamilton Island for the three-day extravaganza, exchanging vows in front of 120 of their family and friends.
Although the uber-luxe resort wasn’t their first choice, with the wedding originally planned for St Barts, before it was destroyed by Cyclone Irma.
Shunning tradition, Symond, who is the daughter of Aussie Home Loans founder John Symond, wore an incredible $200,000 dusty pink Christian Dior haute couture gown, instead asking guests to dress in white for the big day.

And because one incredible dress wasn’t enough, Symond also wore another pink gown for the rehearsal dinner, opting for a floral Roksanda Ilincic gown from her SS18 collection.
And a little resort wear for the rest of the weekend.
