Actors Alison Brie and Dave Franco have officially relocated to Australian shores.
The cute couple are the latest in a string of celebs to call Byron Bay home. Other notable residents of the quaint coastal town in northern New South Wales include A-listers Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky, and previously, Zac Efron, Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso.
Brie is in Australia working on her latest project, Apples Never Fall – a TV series being adapted from the novel of the same name, by acclaimed author Liane Moriarty.
It’s the third of Moriarty’s books to receive the silver screen treatment, after the massive success of Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers.
Also signed on to the project is Jake Lacey, who is best known for his work on The White Lotus, High Fidelity, and The Office. The series is also set to star an array of Australian talent, including Sam Neill, Annette Benning, and Essie Randles.
Brie’s husband, Franco, has also made the move, with the couple documenting their Australian adventures via Instagram.
Per Brie’s posts, as well as Byron, they have also spent time in Sydney and Melbourne, ticking bucket-list items like a visit to the Opera House off their itinerary.
Naturally, fans of the couple are loving the glimpses into their lives on Australian shores, with one user commenting on a recent post: “You’re in Aus?? Excuse me while I find flights to Byron 😆”
Brie and Franco have been married since 2017 and, throughout their relationship, have co-starred in several titles together.
Their first collaborations, The Little Hours and The Disaster Artist, both came the same year as their wedding, and were followed in 2020 by The Rental, which Franco directed and Brie starred in.
This year, they flexed their talents again with Somebody I Used To Know, a romantic comedy they co-wrote together, and which Franco directed and Brie stars in.
