Everything we thought we knew about The Bachelor is a lie: controversial contestant Alex Nation (you know, from Richie Strahan’s season) actually isn’t Alex Nation at all.
‘Alex Nation’ has taken to Instagram to reveal her real name, and explain why she abbreviated it slightly (read: a lot) for TV.
Her real name? Alexandra Denise Marilyn Nation McGurgan.
Of course, Nation is far from the only celebrity to adopt a stage name – all of these big names, from Emma Stone to Meghan Markle, go by different monikers to the ones they were born with.
Nation split from her Bachelor love Richie Strahan shortly after the show left our TV screens, and was most recently engaged to Maegan Luxa, but the pair are reported to have ended their engagement.
