Abbie Chatfield is open about many things (which is exactly why we and her 467k Instagram followers love her), but who she is dating is rarely one of them.

So when the reality TV queen not only opened up about her love life, but hard-launched her new boyfriend, we were instantly obsessed with this pairing.

On Tuesday morning, the star uploaded two new episodes of her podcast, It’s A Lot With Abbie Chatfield, titled ‘THE HARD LAUNCH,’ parts one and two. As the titles suggest, the episodes served as a means for Chatfield to introduce us to her new partner—musician Adam Hyde, who joined her for an interview.

If that name sounds familiar it’s probably because Hyde is super successful. Not only is he one half of electronic band Peking Duk, but he also creates music under the stage name Keli Holiday. In fact, it was at one of his gigs where the pair say their relationship really took off.

While Chatfield first told listeners she was in a relationship back in March, she did not confirm her beau’s identity until now (although, she did drop some hints).

“Okay, guys, here’s Adam, my boyfriend. I think you all know this by now,” the reality TV host began the new episode. “We’re so in love, and we love talking about it.”

Who Is Abbie Chatfield Dating?

Abbie Chatfield and her boyfriend Adam Hyde revealed that they first met in 2022 when she interviewed him for her radio show, but they did not begin dating for almost a year.

“We’d see each other and we’d make out and we’d not talk afterwards,” Chatfield said on It’s A Lot.

“It never lined up because it was never opened up to that,” Hyde added.

They told listeners that they were hanging out on and off for months before they slept together—and when finally they did, Chatfield described it as “nothing crazy.”

However, everything changed a few weeks later when she headed up to Brisbane to see one of Hyde’s gigs.

“I mean everything kind of changed in that next day and night,” the musician gushed.

Chatfield elaborated, saying, “Yeah, we sat by the pool and drank margaritas, and then the sex went crazy.”

The pair went on to detail how much they love each other later in the episode. The Bachelor alum told Hyde that he made her “feel so safe and so calm.”

Despite previously being “scared to love again,” Hyde explained that after falling for Chatfield he has become “fearlessly open to everything.”

She went on to add, “Not only are we so in love, but we also have really healthy relationship.”

We could not be happier for them!

Who Did Abbie Chatfield Used To Date?

Before coupling up with Adam Hyde, Abbie Chatfield’s most recent public relationship was with The Bachelorette contestant Konrad Bien-Stephen.

Snaps of the pair kissing at a Byron Bay bar (after he’d wrapped filming on Brooke Blurton’s season of The Bachelorette) initially sparked rumours several days before his exit aired, and the confirmation came soon after Australia watched him leave the mansion.

Bien-Stephen told marie claire Australia at the time that the meeting was “totally random.”

“I was out to lunch with a friend of mine in Byron—I wanted to take her out for some cocktails because she’s been helping me out with a place to stay there,” he explained. “While we were having lunch [my friend] got a message from Abbie saying ‘I’m in Byron, let’s catch up for a drink!’ So My friend was like, ‘let’s go down and meet her.”

The pair dated for around 10 months before splitting amicably in mid-2022.

Prior to that, the star had a very public relationship with Matt Agnew, whose heart she competed for on Season 7 of The Bachelor Australia., which aired in 2019. Chatfield was the season’s runner up.

There seems to be no bad blood between her and Agnew, though. The pair have shared some online banter and even reunited for an episode of Abbie’s former radio show in 2022.
