The best belated Christmas present we received this year couldn’t have been found beneath the tree, as season two of You finally returned to the small screen.
But those who tuned in had a lot to say about Joe Goldberg’s highly-anticipated comeback with fans taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on the second installment (via meme of course).

Warning: the following contains serious spoilers.
There were twists and turns aplenty in season two with charming stalker Joe (Penn Badgley) moving to Los Angeles to adopt a whole new alias under the moniker, Will Bettelheim.
But his newfound lifestyle doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s changed – especially when he whips on that baseball cap.
In Joe’s new position at a local bookstore, he comes across romantic interest, Love Quinn, in a chance meeting fit for a fairy tale.

But viewers were right to be weary, as a series of flashbacks reveal that it wasn’t a sheer matter of fate with Joe actually renting an apartment opposite Love’s home to track her every move – all in a bid to eventually seduce her.
Though we weren’t the only ones keeping our fingers crossed that he might change, as Twitter users flocked to the social media platform to prove that they were also taken for, well, clowns.
Against all odds, there were some viewers who didn’t fall for Joe’s charms and publicly put the rest of us to shame.
In fact, a number of us are still struggling to separate Penn Badgley from his psychopathic onscreen character. Yes, even by season two.
If you managed to steal your eyes from Joe’s antics for one moment, you’ll have noticed that former love interest, Beck, also makes a surprise appearance in season two.
But viewers weren’t entirely happy to see her return in ghost form…
Although it’s Joe we should be track of with some viewers (psst, guilty) still struggling to get over Joe’s stalking habits no matter how many episodes in.
That said, we’re still hoping for a season three of course…
