After Wonder Woman smashed box office records worldwide, grossing $US100.5 million in its opening weekend alone, Warner Bros. has finally announced that yes, there will be a sequel.

With everyone’s new girl crush Gal Gadot present, Warner Bros. made the long-awaited announcement at Comic-Con International over the weekend. They also confirmed (of course) that Gadot will reprise her role, People reports.

Gadot will also appear as Wonder Woman in the upcoming Justice League, where she will star alongside Batman (played by Ben Afleck), The Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Mamoa) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher).
