Wedding of the century!

Remember that old rule about never wearing white to a wedding? One bride has broken all the rules and allowed her friends and family to wear their old wedding dresses at her wedding.

Audrey Moore felt it was “sad that most women only get to wear their wedding dress once,” according to a Reddit post her husband, Jesse Lumen, wrote. “So we invited all the women coming to our non-traditional wedding to wear their old wedding dresses again.”

Her guests followed through.

Dozens of women showed up to the couple’s wedding in what they wore on their own wedding days. “I’ve been to all of their weddings and I saw them all in their beautiful dresses. I wanted them to have the opportunity to wear their really magical, beautiful dress a second time,” Moore told Buzzfeed. “It was like watching a group of princesses come to life.”

The Internet couldn’t get enough of Moore’s wedding pictures.

“These are the best wedding pictures I’ve ever seen! Congrats,” one person wrote on Reddit.

Another wrote, “I want to cry after reading this. I got coerced into throwing a wedding that I really didn’t feel displayed my husband’s and my personalities at all. You guys did it to the nines and stayed true to yourselves. I am so proud of you for sticking with it! Sounds like the best day ever, which it should be.”

For those guests that didn’t have a wedding gown to wear, Moore encouraged them to wear “that one dress they only wore once,” like to prom or another special occasion.

“We had such a good time,” Moore told BuzzFeed. “We really wanted it to be sweet and also just taken seriously in the love for each other but not taken so seriously in any sort of pomp and circumstance.”
