David and Victoria Beckham secured their thrones (quite literally) as the celebrity world’s golden couple when they said “I do” over two decades ago.
So nothing excites their loyal fanbase more than a nostalgic photograph from the beginnings of their fairytale-worthy romance.

Yesterday (February 24), Victoria shared a throwback video of herself interviewing her now-husband on Instagram alongside the caption: “So sweet! I love u @davidbeckham x”.
In the tug-at-your-heartstrings clip, the mother-of-four asks David: “When did you first realise you were really famous?”
“Straight away,” the former footballer jokes, prompting Victoria to giggle too.
“It was when he first started going out with me, I think, actually” the Spice Girl says, winking at the camera.
The pair continue to try and get through the interview but keep bursting into fits of flirty giggles with Victoria eventually giving up: “I can’t do it anymore!”
Helping the A-list duo out, a member of the television crew takes charge of the situation and asks David, “What made you fall in love with Victoria?”
“I couldn’t put my finger on one thing – it was everything,” David beams in the clip. “You know, the whole package. I just fell in love with it.”
Not missing a trick, Victoria calls him out for referring to her as “it”.
Knowing he’s in trouble, David teases: “It’s time to go, I think?”
“Am I boring?” Victoria quips in response.
“No, darling, you’re brilliant but I’m tired,” he replies.
Victoria soon forgives him, as she turns to the camera and boasts: “He’s very sexy, isn’t he?”
“You’re better looking than Valentino, babe.”
It’s difficult to pinpoint when the interview took place but judging by Victoria’s choppy pixie cut and David’s bandana, we’re looking at around 1999.
The couple are currently enjoying a family ski trip alongside their children: Brooklyn (20), Romeo (17), Cruz (15) and Harper Beckham (8).
It’s a well-deserved break for Victoria who presented her autumn/winter 2020 collection during London Fashion Week earlier this month with her loved ones cheering on from the front row.
