Last week footage from 2005 emerged of Donald Trump and Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush having a vulgar conversation about sexual assault including the now-infamous “grab them by the pussy, you can do anything” line.
The comments have been widely condemned, and now Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks has weighed in on the debate.
Speaking with the Press Association to promote his latest film Inferno, the 60-year-old actor slammed the Republican candidate not only for the vulgar comments but also his blantant dismissal of them as merely “locker-room talk”.

“He was at work, man. He wasn’t in a locker room. He was at work. He was showing up to do a thing on camera,” said Tom.
“Look, I’m offended as a man. I’m not offended as a husband or a father. I’m offended as a guy.”
“That’s just not right, I’m sorry. It’s not right at work, it’s not right in the locker room. It’s wrong, period. The end. That’s all.”
But he wasn’t done there, reminding everyone of his worrying lack of political experience.

“It’s kind of like if you have a horrible, painful tooth, and you need a root canal. Who are you going to see? A guy who says, ‘Oh, I think I can figure that out, how to do a root canal for you. Lay down.”
