Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer have called it quits after nine years of marriage.
PEOPLE has confirmed the split after the pair released a statement together.
“After much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple,” they wrote. “As devoted parents, our first priority remains raising our children together with enduring love, respect and friendship.”
The couple have two children together – a nine-year-old daughter, Ruby, and a seven-year-old son, Otis.
Maguire and Meyer met in 2003, and got married four years later in Hawaii.
Jennifer Meyer is an American jewellery designer, and Tobey Maguire is an actor.
