With the beginning of each week now spent devouring new episodes of The White Lotus season two, you could safely say we’re well and truly hooked. The series, brilliantly written by Mike White, is filled with twists, unholy one-liners and confronting parallels to every day life—what’s not to love?

The all-new season (which you can watch now on Binge and Foxtel) has introduced an brand new cast who play the next batch of holiday makers visiting the Sicilian counterpart of The White Lotus resorts. This time, there’s new tragedy and a new mystery to unfold, and its quirky characters make it all the more gripping. 

But if you’re anything like us, you’ll have spend most of the first episode Googling the names of the actors trying to work out where you’ve seen them before. Below, we reveal where you’ve seen them before.

Meghann Fahy plays Daphne Sullivan

Fahy is best known for her work in The Bold Type, in which she starred as the budding fashion stylist Sutton Brady. Before that, she starred in numerous television series including Blue BloodsChicago Fire, Necessary Roughness and even an extra role in the  OG Gossip Girl. 

Theo James plays Cameron Sullivan

Theo James shot to fame for playing Four in Divergent alongside Shailene Woodley. He starred in the trilogies successive films following this. The British actor has also starred in popular UK series, Sanditon, and more recently starred in the TV adaptation of The Time Traveller’s Wife

Michael Imperioli plays Dominic Di Grasso

Imperioli is best known for playing cousin Chris in The Sopranos (never forget) and has since starred in several films major films including Jungle Fever and Bad Boys. 

Jennifer Coolidge plays Tanya McQuoid

This one needs no introduction. Coolidge cemented herself as a Hollywood great the moment she stepped into the iconic role of Stifler’s Mom in American Pie. She also starred alongside Hilary Duff in A Cinderella Story, joined Reese Witherspoon in two Legally Blonde films and left quite the impression in television series, 2 Broke Girls. We could go on, but these alone prove her icon status. 

Haley Lu Richardson plays Portia

You might recognise Richardson from The Edge Of Seventeen, in which she starred alongside Hailey Steinfeld. She also delved into the horror genre in Split, and on the other end of the spectrum, popular TV series Jane The Virgin. 

Aubrey Plaza plays Harper Spiller

Another actor who doesn’t need much of an intro, Plaza is best known for her work in Parks & Recreation, but she’s also made a name for herself in films including Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Ingrid Goes West. 

Will Sharpe plays Ethan Spiller

British actor Will Sharpe starred in Netflix’s limited series, Guri/Haji after scoring roles in two iconic UK series, Casualty and Sherlock.

F. Murray Abraham plays Bert Di Grasso

Oscar winner F. Murray Abraham is another Hollywood great to join the cast. His unforgettable performances in Armadeus, Scarface and The Grand Budapest Hotel have cemented his status. He’s also starred in several major series including Homeland and Mythic Quest

Adam DiMarco plays Albie Di Grasso

Adam DiMarco started out in family films including Rebel Radio and Zapped, but he’s since transitioned to slightly more mature series including The Magicians and The Order. 

Leo Woodall plays Jack

Leo Woodall plays English newcomer Jack, telling GQ that he modelled his character off of British TV personality Joey Essex (he’s actually from west London). The White Lotus is his biggest break so far, but he did have a brief stint on Vampire Academy as Adrian Ivashkov.
