From the most liked Instagram posts of all time, to clocking up more followers than most celebrities combined, it’s no surprise that they’re making major bank off their posts.

But According to Page Six, momager Kris Jenner has been issued legal letter from Truth In Advertising Inc. accusing the family of using “deceptive marketing campaigns”.

The non-profit watchdog say they found “a plethora of posts that do not clearly or conspicuously disclose their relationships with the companies being promoted in the posts as is required by federal law.”

The organization has given the family time to rectify the offending posts, which include mentions of companies including Puma, Calvin Klein, Jetsmarter, FitTea, Estee Lauder and Karl Lagerfeld, as listed in the letter.

“The law is clear and people are not following it, and it’s not being enforced very often,” TINA spokeswoman Bonnie Patten told Page Six.

“Consumers have the right to know when they’re looking at paid advertising,” added Jessica Rich, director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection.

A number of the family’s posts have already been updated to feature #sp or #spon.
