20 years after Buffy The Vampire Slayer hit the small screen and inspired young girls everywhere that they too could be a bad ass vampire slayer – or at least that they could be bad ass – the cast of the beloved show have reunited.
Led by Buffy herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar, the entire cast reunited for the new issue of Entertainment Weekly – and unbelievably none of them have changed a bit!

The reunion, aptly held in a cemetery, also featured both of Buyffy’s onscreen love interests, David Boreanaz who played Angel, and James Masters who played Spike.
But they also managed to reunite the entire cast including key stars Alyson Hannigan, Michelle Trachtenberg, Seth Green and Nicolas Brendon.
One star who was noticeably absent however was beloved librarian/watcher/fountain of knowledge Giles, played by Anthony Stewart Head. A scheduling clash meant the British actor couldn’t make the photoshoot.
“The show was ‘the ultimate metaphor,”’ Sarah Michelle told the magazine. “It was utilising the horrors of adolescence manifested through these actual monsters.
“And I think that (for) everyone going through it, that’s the hardest time of life and to understand that you’re not alone through that.”
“When you’re going through a really horrible part of your life, like your teenage years, you feel alone. And Buffy was a way to tell the audience you’re not alone,” added Boreanaz.
