The royal couple signed a book of condolence at the US Embassy in London

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have paid their respects to the victims of the Orlando massacre that left 49 dead and injured dozens more.

The royal couple visited the US Embassy in London where they signed a book of condolence.

“With our deepest condolences and with our thoughts and prayers to all those affected,” the pair wrote, both signing their names.

After singing the book, Wills and Kate met with representatives of the Embassy community, including Matthew Barzun, the US Ambassador to London.

The official Kensington Palace Instgram account shared a photo of the couple during their visit, writing: “The Duke and Duchess offer their condolences for the victims of the terrible attack on Orlando’s Pulse nightclub, signing a book of condolence at the US Embassy. The book was signed in front of a flag presented to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by the Kaleidoscope Trust, who work to uphold the human rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people internationally.”
