In case you missed it, last night shock jock Steve Price stunned QandA audiences with his response to a question about domestic violence.

However, in short, the controversy erupted after audience member Tarang Chawla revealed that his sister had been killed by her partner last year. He mentioned the recent Eddie McGuire “drowning” comments, and asked “How will politicians and the media play a better role in bringing about long overdue cultural shifts so tragedies like what happened to my family are not normalised?”
To which Price launched into a diatribe defending McGuire. When it was finally fellow panellist Van Badham’s turn to speak, he interrupted her – THIRTEEN TIMES – before eventually blurting out: “I think you’re just being hysterical.”
To her credit, Van Badham kept her cool. Her measured response was, ahem, priceless: “It’s probably my ovaries making me do it Steve.”
It’s the feminist quote of the year, and today the internet predictably had a field day with the hashtag #myovariesmademe. Here are some of the best responses.
