As soon as Brooke Blurton stepped out of the car on night one of The Bachelor Australia, the 23-year-old youth worker caught Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins’ eye.
The Perth-born beauty then cemented herself as a frontrunner after receiving the season’s first rose and the first-ever key to the Bachie pad.
Despite not yet having a proper single date with Nick, last night Brooke scored the second kiss of the season, after popping over to his place for breakfast in bed.
Just this morning, the brunette babe hinted he could have won the show, taking to Instagram to share a loved-up message: “I believe your soul, and my soul could be very old friends. ✨ I could get used to you ♥️”
Below, the other reasons we believe she wins the Honey Badger’s heart.
1. She’s into rugby
Brooke rocked up to the Bachie mansion with rugby balls in hand, before proving she could play by tackling Nick last night – and then giving him mouth-to-mouth so he could recover from the blow (smooth, Badger).
2. She shares the same passions as Nick
The Bachie previously told us his perfect woman is “someone who is unconditional in their approach and service to others in life – as in giving back to those less fortunate and living a life of meaning.” Cue, the youth worker who gives back to those less fortunate on the daily.
3. The two have definite chemistry
Those tackles! that kiss! that heart to heart!
4. They can open up to each other easily
After revealing she lost her mum at age 11, Brooke told the Honey Badger: “You have a very strong set of who you are and what you want to do. And I find that so attractive because I know who I am, and I’m pretty proud of who I am.”
5. Nick hinted that he ends up with a brunette… and Brooke’s a brunette!
When the Honey Badger talked to Fitzy and Wippam, he said that all of his ex-girlfriends have been blonde and that this time, he’s had a big changer – AKA ended up with a brunette.
“In the past, they have actually been sandy blonde… and that’s why I’ve had a big changer,” Nick said.
