Modern Family star Sofia Vergara may have a teenage son on the US hit show, but in real-life Vergara’s son is 26 – and a carbon copy of his gorgeous mother.

Last night, the actress brought her son, Manolo Gonzalez-Ripoll Vergara, as her red carpet date and fans couldn’t help but notice how similar the mother-son duo look.

It looks like Manolo is following in his famous mother’s footsteps, too: he stars in the second season of Guilty Party: History of Lying in Hollywood, which airs on YouTube.

Manolo, who also accompanied Vergara to the Emmy Awards, was born in Colombia during her brief marriage to her high-school sweetheart, Joe.
