While the Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants movies are long over (with rumours of a third film still floating around!), the cast, namely America Ferrera, Blake Lively, Alexis Bledel and Amber Tamblyn, remain firm friends.
Over the years, they’ve made a point of catching up at all the important moments in one another’s lives – from weddings to play openings, the foursome regularly hang out and have each other’s backs.
So when pictures of the four emerged on Amber Tamblyn’s Twitter account, we couldn’t help but take note.
“Didn’t think anything could beat kicking off the new year with the #TIMESUP initiative, but then…” she tweeted, posting a photo of the foursome with their hands on Ferrera’s stomach in celebration of her pregnancy.
“Starting the New Year off with blessings from my Sisterhood. We’ve got work to do for the next generation. Let’s get to it,” Ferrera then tweeted, adding a #TIMESUP hashtag to the end.
The four women join 300 other Hollywood heavyweights in the Time’s Up movement, which aims to fight sexual harassment in the film industry and beyond. The campaign is being described as a “unified call for change from women in entertainment for women everywhere”.
