Following on from confirmation that Sex And The City 3 has been given the (very stylish) boot, actress Kim Cattrall has spoken out about her relationship with her former co-stars.
Appearing on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, Cattrall explained she was not as chummy with the other SATC stars as we once imagined.
“We’ve never been friends. We’ve been colleagues and it’s a very healthy place to be,” Cattrall explained, The Sun reports.
“I don’t see them.
“The common ground we had was the series and the series is over.
Cattrall recounted how she has turned down the offer for Sex And The City 3 multiple times.
“I remember so clearly making that decision. Last December I got a phone call and it was concerning that and I knew exactly, I could feel it, and the answer was simply, ‘Thank you but no, I’m good’,” she said.
Last month, Sarah Jessica Parker opened up about the decision not to go ahead with SATC 3.
“It’s not just disappointing that we don’t get to tell the story and have that experience, but more so for that audience that has been so vocal in wanting another movie,” SJP told Extra.
We’ll just have to give our SATC box-set another watch instead.
