Serena Williams made headlines earlier this year when she accidentally announced her pregnancy via Snapchat.
Soon after, fans did the math and worked out that the tennis star had won the Australian Open with her first child growing in her belly.
Now, around six months pregnant, the 35-year-old poses naked on the cover of Vanity Fair, showing off her gorgeous growing bump.
“Oh my God, this can’t be – I’ve got to play a tournament,” Serena said in her cover interview of seeing the positive pregnancy test. “How am I going to play the Australian Open? I had planned on winning Wimbledon this year.”
Just to be sure, Serena took a further five tests (all of which came up positive), before handing one over to her fiancé, Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian.
“It just doesn’t seem real,” she says. “I don’t know why. Am I having a baby? I don’t know what to do with a baby. I have nothing … I’ve done absolutely nothing for the baby room.”
Alexis, however, is already popping money into a “tip jar” every time he swears, in a bid to make sure he won’t curse in front of the newborn.
