If you’re one of Selena Gomez’s 130m Instagram followers, you might not have noticed that overnight the singer made her account private after posting an Instagram Story about her recent Billboard interview.
Though it’s now been deleted, Selena shared a screenshot of the first paragraph of the interview, writing over top: “Never will I let another human guess my words ever again. Or invite them into my home.”
“That is so hurtful. The most ‘ridiculous’ part of that is no one knowing my heart when I say things.”
The text underneath reads: “There’s a five-foot teddy bear sprawled across the kitchen floor in Selena Gomez’s North Hollywood home. “I know, I know,” says Gomez, rolling her eyes, acknowledging that the stuffed animal doesn’t quite blend with the trio of armchairs nestled in the inviting, marble-accented nook. “It was a gift, and at first I thought, ‘This is so ridiculous, I can’t wait until I give it away to another person.’”
But Gomez, 25, hasn’t let go of it — yet.”
It looks like Selena is upset that the Billboard writer chose to include their conversation about giving away the teddy bear she was gifted.
Perhaps she thinks it makes her look ungrateful? Who knows, but fans are also sharing this (now-deleted) Instagram Story, in which Selena writes she “need[s] some alone time.”
This time last year, the 25-year-old was in rehab due to anxiety and exhaustion.
Here’s hoping she takes some time out of the spotlight to rest and recover.
