SAS Australia returns to our screens this October. The gruelling reality program sees 14 recruits undertake a series of extremely tough physical and psychological challenges.

While every season of SAS Australia is tough, this one will be the first that takes the recruits out of the country. This season, the 14 recruits will complete their challenges in the hot, harsh conditions of the Middle East

What Can We Expect From This Season Of SAS Australia

Like previous seasons, a team of special force operatives will push the recruits to their limits with a series of gruelling challenges. These test everything from physical endurance to psychological resilience. The recruits are also required to eat, sleep and train together with no exceptions made for gender, age or celebrity status.

Our first look at the upcoming season has shown the recruits launching hand grenades and being buried alive in the hot Middle Eastern desert. Essentially, we can expect an intense season ahead.

Who’s Cast In SAS Australia

This year’s recruits includes many famous sportspeople, including AFLW player Abbey Holmes, world champion boxer Anthony Mundine, NRL star Boyd Cordner, AFL star Jason Akermanis, rugby star Mahalia Murphy, Olympic diver Matthew Mitcham, Olympic runner Peter Bol, and Olympic swimmer Stephanie Rice. The cast also includes entertainment personalities, Zima Anderson, Tim Robards and Craig McLachlan. The series also sees convicted drug smuggle Cassie Sainsbury, Balinese Princess and model Lindy Klim, and Tham Luang cave rescue diver Dr Craig Challen.
