Meghan Markle’s estranged half-sister, Samantha Grant (although she now prefers Samantha Markle), has given an exclusive interview with A Current Affair – and she doesn’t hold back.

51-year-old Samantha, who is confined to a wheelchair due to multiple sclerosis and lives in Ocala, suburban Florida, with her husband Mark, says the princess-to-be has abandoned their father, Tom Markle, who filed for bankruptcy in 2016 and now lives in Mexico.
“I have a right to speak and I have a right to help people understand how things really are,” she says, before explaining how their father, who once worked as an Emmy-winning TV lighting director, helped to launch Megan’s career.
“I don’t think he feels like she owes him, but that is how I see it,” she explains, adding, “Honestly what she could spend in a weekend would greatly help Dad. If you can afford $75,000 for a dress, you can afford $75,000 to help your dad,” referring to the Ralph & Russo couture gown her sister wore for her royal engagement photo shoot.
That said, Samantha still hopes for an invitation to the royal wedding and says she was “always very proud” of her younger sister. “I never felt bitter or jealous,” she tells A Current Affair.
Clearly not.
