Following weeks of negative stories about tension between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Cambridge, the Palace has broken her silence on the persistent reports of a royal feud.

Specifically, the Palace is making a statement in regards to a story that surfaced from The Sun, which alleges that Kate “slapped down” Meghan for berating members of her team at Kensington Palace right before Meghan and Harry’s royal wedding.
However, the incident between Middleton and Markle is complete fiction, according to Buckingham Palace. “This never happened,” the Palace told The Mirror.
Buckingham Palace rarely steps in to fight off the rumor mill, but their defense was warranted, because just hours prior to shutting down The Sun’s story, Vanity Fair reported that the Duchess of Sussex believes that the British press “is out to get her.”
Let’s hope that the Palace’s statement will officially put these rumors to rest.
