On Monday September 19, members of the Royal family, international delegates and world leaders gathered to bid one final farewell for Queen Elizabeth II.
The funeral, which took place in Westminster Abbey, saw members of the Royal family from both sides of the pond descended on Central London to pay respect to the life and legacy of their families matriarch, and Britain’s longest reigning monarch.
Both the Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate, and the Sussex’s, Meghan and Harry, seemingly put their alleged ongoing feud aside for the reverent service, as they both arrived solemnly for the melancholy occasion.
Prince William and Princess Kate we’re joined by there two eldest children, Prince George (9) and Princess Charlotte (7), while the location of their youngest child, Prince Louis (4), remains to be seen.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are not in attendance at the Royal funeral.
As per official protocol, King Charles III and Prince William are both wearing military uniform for the occasion. Prince Harry was allegedly forbidden from wearing his military uniform, as his status as a non-working member of the royal family prohibits him from doing so.
While the occasion is certainly solemn, the Royal family remains as stylish as ever.
Princess Kate is paying homage to both Princess Diana and the late-Queen in her funeral attire.
Kate completed her ensemble with a black veiled hat that sartorially recalls Princess Diana’s iconic millenary to mind.
She also paid tribute to the Queen by wearing her Japanese Pearl Choker, which was also once worn by Princess Diana.
