The engagement rumours circling Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have revved up after they appeared hand-in-hand at the Invictus Games, and now Prince William has publicly addressed their relationship.

During a royal visit to William Cowley Parchment Makers, which produces the vellum used by the British royal family and parliament, the general manager Paul Wright joked that he would soon be making Prince Harry and Markle’s marriage certificate.
“If Prince Harry marries Meghan then his certificate will be in our vellum,” he said.
Prince William’s response? “He just laughed – a nice laugh,” Wright revealed to People. A classic Duke of Cambridge move – laugh it off to (badly) hide the truth.
While Markle has spoken publicly about her relationship, Prince Harry is yet to do so. Markle waxed lyrical about her loved-up status to Vanity Fair: “We’re two people who are really happy and in love. We were very quietly dating for about six months before it became news, and I was working during that whole time, and the only thing that changed was people’s perception.”
“Nothing about me changed. I’m still the same person that I am, and I’ve never defined myself by my relationship,” she added.
