The Royal is in Sydney to promote the 2018 edition of the Invictus Games, prompting a significant security increase by both NSW and Australian Federal Police.

Harry made his first official appearance this morning, speaking at Admiralty House in Kirribilli.

During his speech, he paid tribute to the two Australians who lost their lives during the London Bridge terror attack.

“Australians form an important and vibrant part of the fabric of life in London and we are reminded of that in good times and bad,” Harry started.

“Our hearts go out to the victims, their friends and families.”

“In these challenging times, we can all benefit from positive and inspiring stories from which to draw strength.

The Invictus Games shows us that it is possible to overcome adversity, and that the impossible is possible, if you have the will.”

This afternoon Prince Harry will be visiting Sydney Harbour, Circular Quay, The Rocks and the 2018 Invictus Games Venues.
