Although Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship looks (read: is rumoured) to be going so well that the actress has the tick of approval from the royal family, she might soon be quitting her job on Suits and moving into the palace, and hopes of another royal wedding are high, the only time Prince Harry has actually formally addressed the situation is when he released that statement back in November of last year.
And, as one reporter just found out, he’s not about to gush over his girlfriend in public anytime soon.
Sky News’ reporter Rhiannon Mills was interviewing Prince Harry about the Heads Together campaign he, Prince William and Kate Middleton are currently promoting, when she asked about Meghan Markle.
“You seem in a really good place at the moment, you seem very focused on what you want to do, but you also seem to be very happy. Is that partly to do with having a lady in your life?” she said.
“I think, I think the point that we’ve learnt over this campaign is that if you talk, if you’re able and comfortable enough to be able to talk about certain issues, certain experiences, then you come out of it a far better person,” Harry (expertly) replied.
“But you’re in a good place at the moment?” Mills pushed.
“Yeah, of course, I’m in a good place, we’re all in a good place, and we want the UK to be in a good place as well,” the prince finished, totally shutting down Mills’ attempts at a royal love confession.
We do have to commend her on her efforts though.
