Sheโs been facing criticism for her curvy bod throughout the duration of her pregnancy and now, plus-size model Tess Holliday has had enough of the โInsta-shamersโ.
Posting a bathroom selfie displaying her very visible baby bump to Instagram, she captioned the snap: โWhen people say to me, โI canโt tell youโre pregnantโ & my face is like ๐๐๐ค๐โ.โ Not stopping there, she added: โI will continue to live unapologetically, to thrive in this body, prove the naysayers wrong & laugh at the ignorance โ๏ธ #babyhollidayontheway #37weeks #effyourbeautystandards #plussizepregnancy.โ
Unfortunately, this is not the first time Tess has had to defend her pregnancy body. Having made the hashtag #effyourbeautystandards her signature, the model has made it very clear over the years that she doesnโt give a damn what anyone thinks about her beautiful bodโฆespecially during her pregnancy.
Only last month, she penned a lengthy post addressing fans (as well as those weighing in on her pregnancy progress).
โWhile Iโve done my best to look as put together as possible, thatโs not real life, & itโs not for most women. Iโm not the first plus size woman in the public eye to have a baby & share it with the world, & I certainly wonโt be the last. However Iโm part of a small minority thatโs telling you itโs okay to not have a perfect baby bump, or not show at all, to be plus size & have a healthy child, & most importantly to find a care provider that doesnโt shame you about your size,โ Tessโ emotional caption read.
