Texas plus-sized model Natalie Hage has recalled a nightmare flight when she was brutally body shamed by a fellow passenger.
The 30-year-old influencer had paid $91 for extra legroom for her flight to Los Angeles, but was then placed in a middle seat The Sun reports.
โAs soon as I sat down, the gentleman on my left began LOUDLY huffing, sighing, and readjusting himself in his seat,โ Natalie posted to Instagram, accompanied by photos of the manโs phone.
โI see him furiously texting and then purposefully turning the phone away from me. So, naturally next time he texts, I take a look.
โThe texts were about me and Iโm almost positive he took photos of me.โ
Natalie said she discovered the texts were โreally mean and uglyโ and ridiculed her for her weight.
โIf you canโt read the texts, it says โhopefully she didnโt have any Mexican foodโ and his response is โI think she ate a Mexicanโ,โ her post continued. โThen he proceeds to say heโs leaving a โneck mark on the windowโ because heโs so smashed against the wall.โ
The model explained that she was devastated by the manโs texts that not only made fun of her appearance but violated her privacy.

The stranger initially denied sending the texts (ugh) before making even more digs at her weightโthis time, to her face. He only apologised after she mentioned the photographs of his texts. In the video, Natalie makes the incredibly important point: โMy body is none of your business so you have no idea what I can and canโt do with it.โ
โDonโt ever treat somebody like that again,โ she added.
The video has been viewed more than 1.5 million times, with commenters praising her for bringing the issue to lightโand taking a stand for all women.
