Pink has shared an honest – and hilarious – insight into her family’s Christmas this year care of one handwritten letter by her daughter, six-year-old Willow.
Pink posted the photo of her daughter’s note to Santa on Instagram, along with a translation of her six-year-old writing: “Translation: MOM FAIL “santa, I am worried about Chippy, he has been in the same spot for 3 days. I don’t know why.” #elfonthesamedamnshelf“
For the uninitiated, #ElfOnAShelf has been doing the rounds on social media this festive season, and involves a parent moving the elf to different places around their home for their children to find every morning until Christmas. Parents have been photographing the places their elves end up each day using the hashtag.
Judging by the comments the post received, Pink is just one of many parents who could have done without one more chore in the lead-up to Christmas.
“My poor kids had the same lazy elf 😂 a few days then he would move, then a few days in that spot!” one shared.
“In my opinion elf in a shelf is a huge pain in the ass” said another.
Despite their elf’s concerning immobility, it looks like Willow and her little brother Jameson had a wonderful Christmas after all.
