After 18 years in political exile, controversial One Nation leader Pauline Hanson is set to take her place in the Senate following this weekendโ€™s Federal Election.

Known for her extreme views on Immigration, once focused on โ€œAsianโ€ immigration and Abpriginal land rights, these days her policies focus heavily on Islam.

Hanson has gone so far as to call for an โ€œinquiry or Royal Commission to determine if Islam is a religion or political ideologyโ€.

โ€œAustralia is now seeing big changes in the suburbs which are predominately Muslim,โ€ One Nationโ€™s policy platform states.

โ€œSome of these suburbs include Lakemba, Auburn, Bankstown, Punchbowl and Villawood in Western Sydney. Tolerance toward other Australians or non-Muslim migrants is no longer the case. Our law courts are disrespected and prisons have become breeding grounds for extremist Muslims to radicalise inmates.โ€

According to the One Nation partyโ€™s agenda, they are calling to ban the burqa and niqab in public as well as Halal certification, she wants to stop Muslim immigration and has made a call to install surveillance cameras in mosques, reports News Corp.

There will be โ€œno hope for the futureโ€ if we do not make the โ€œnecessary changes now to stop the advancement of Islam in Australiaโ€, the platform continues.

โ€œDo you want your children and grandchildren to be living under Sharia Law and treated as a second-class citizen with no rights? We donโ€™t!โ€

However Richard Di Natale, of The Greens, says he is ready to go into battle with Hanson over her โ€œracistโ€ views.

โ€œWe will take it right up to her, to show that in a modern Australia there is no place for racism, there is no place for bigotry, for the sort of hatred that she is spreading through her views,โ€ reports The Courier Mail.
