After fans of the Bachie franchise collectively lost their minds over the news that the first ever Australian ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ is slated for our screens next year, yet another former contestant has denounced the new show: crowd favourite Nikki Gogan.

After rumours were rife that she would appear in the show, particularly after she was spotted filming what looked suspiciously like a promo at a Sydney beach, Gogan clarified her future plans on Instagram.
“I was lucky enough to be in Sydney a few weeks back to film a television commercial, not a Bach in Paradise promo,” she writes. “My idea of paradise is relaxing with my family and friends – laughing, joking and just having a lovely time together (a glass of bubbles in hand while looking out over some form of water body is preferred but not a necessity.”
“I’m doing my best to live my paradise right here. Right now. I wish anyone that chooses to go on Bach in Paradise all the very, very best, but I won’t be joining them,” she adds.
Gogan’s not alone: Richie Strahan yesterday commented that he “100% will not be doing this!” on a Bachelor in Paradise Instagram post, while Blake Garvey has also taken to social media to say he won’t appear. “No way, no how, no chance am I going on Bachelor in Paradise. That is all,” he wrote.
All of which makes us wonder: who will be cast on the show? Our fingers are crossed for Kiera and Laurina…
