The teaser trailer which dropped overnight revealed actress Jodie Whittaker, who stars on Broadchurch, has snagged the lead role.
Jodi will be taking over from Peter Capaldi, who’s been the doctor since 2013 and will leave during this year’s Christmas special.
However, naturally, not all feedback about Doctor Who‘s new appointment has been positive.
