Yesterday, many celebrities took to social media to congratulate Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom on the birth of their first child together, Daisy Dove Bloom.
But perhaps the most notable congrats came from Bloom’s ex-wife, model and Kora Organics founder, Miranda Kerr. All eyes were on the Aussie mother-of-three when she posted her well wishes to both Perry and Bloom’s Instagram posts announcing the arrival of their daughter.
“I’m so happy for you guys. Can’t wait to meet her” wrote the 37-year-old.
After being together for six years, the couple divorced back in 2013 but have been friendly since, even going on holiday together with their nine-year-old son, Flynn.
“We are all very close and Flynn is our absolute priority,” Kerr told marie claire Australia last year.
Bloom, 43, and fiancee Perry, 35, put the happy news to good use by allowing UNICEF to make the announcement, generating awareness for their social account.
“We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” they wrote.
The couple are both UNICEF ambassadors and encouraged fans to donate to the organisations, as well as raise awareness for the health newborn babies all around the world.
Bloom proposed to Perry on Valentine’s Day last year, while Kerr remarried Snapchat co-founder Evan Spiegel, 30, in 2017. The couple have two sons, Hart and Myles Spiegel.
